There’s no need for WhatsApp, Telegram, Zoom, or Google Meet. For your security, we also advise against sharing these external apps with anyone on our platform.

Is there a money-back guarantee if I’m not satisfied with my lessons?+

Our tutors offer lessons in 15, 30, 60, 90, and 120-minute sessions. If you want your first lesson to be a trial session to get to know the tutor, you can choose either a 15-minute or 30-minute lesson. This way, if you're not satisfied, you can easily switch to a different tutor. As a result, refunds are not provided.

Since our system does not have a subscription model, tutors cannot directly schedule lessons for students. However, tutors can communicate with their students through the platform’s messaging system and share their available time slots via the calendar. Students can then book lessons based on the tutor’s availability.

What should I do if a student doesn’t show up for a lesson? +

If a student doesn’t show up for a lesson, tutors are required to stay in the lesson until the scheduled end time. If the student does not attend by then, the lesson will be considered completed, and the tutor will receive their payment as usual.

How do I communicate with students before and after lessons?+

Our platform provides a built-in messaging feature for communication before and after lessons. Third-party applications are strictly prohibited. Tutors and students must use the chat feature within the system or communicate during the online lesson. Sharing personal contact information, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, private websites, or any other external contact details, is strictly forbidden. Any users found violating this policy may have their accounts permanently banned.

Can I reject a lesson request from a student?+

Yes, you can reject a lesson request from a student. However, keep in mind that doing so may negatively impact your ranking on the platform. Instead of rejecting, we recommend rescheduling the lesson to the nearest available time to maintain a good standing and provide a better experience for students.

When and how do I get paid?+

Once your account balance reaches $30, you can submit a withdrawal request. After your request is processed, the funds will be transferred to the bank account you have registered in the system.

Is there a commission or service fee for tutors?+

There is no fee to create a tutor profile on Turkish Mate. However, a commission is deducted from completed lessons. The commission rate varies based on your performance and the total number of lessons you have taught on the platform.

Can I change my lesson pricing later?+
